Online Educational Workshops for children and teenagers

Anassa Group, wanting to meet the special educational and social needs due to the pandemic, has designed and presents a series of online educational workshops for children and teenagers. The program will be presented in collaboration with the Municipality of Maroussi at the Voreeios Library from November 2020 until April 2021. The workshops are offered free of charge by the Municipality of Maroussi to all children who wish to participate.
The following workshops are scheduled for the next period:
"Dive into the Microcosm", an online science workshop, Saturday, November 28, 2020, 17.00 - 18.00, for children 9-11 years old.
17.17.18 - 18.18.18. In the depths of a tiny drop of liquid, in the grain of sand... Bacteria, microbes, microorganisms, symbiotic and shape-shifting with the sole purpose of continuing life. Come and discover these new friends, understand their functions and learn how to live with them in peace!
"Handmade Christmas decoration", online workshop
Saturday, 5 December 2020, 17.00 - 18.00, for children of all ages.
With simple materials and lots of imagination, it's time to make festive ornaments and gifts for our loved ones together. Paper, paint, ribbons, gold dusters will come alive in our hands.
"The science of Christmas", online workshop
Saturday, 12 December 2020, 17.00 - 18.00, for children of all ages.
Christmas is a magical season. For young and old! It has, nevertheless, certain characteristics that we can study with the help of science. Why do we wear woolens when it's cold? What shape are snowflakes? How do the lights on the Christmas tree light up? Why do fir trees freeze? We will answer these questions by doing experiments with simple materials.
